Lower Sixth Physics Holiday Homework [Scanned]
Spend the equivalent of one day revising and answering practice questions for each of the eight sections. Use both the Red and Blue books to get different points of view. Leave some of the past papers for AFTER revising the relevant sections.
1.1 Motion
1.2 Forces in Action
1.3 Work and Energy
2.1 Electric Current
2.2 Resistance
2.3 DC Circuits
2.4 Waves
2.5 Quantum Physics
Note down the sub-topics you find most difficult and the questions you get stuck on. Bring your list to class when we get back.
The topics you have identified so far for re-visiting next term are:
· Vectors
· Young’s Modulus
· Polarisation
· Diffraction Grating Problems
· Circuit Analysis
· Potential Divider
You will have a practical test (quant and eval) on stretching an elastic band in the first week back, so do some research on that topic.
Enjoy!
